EMILE ET IDA I Cherry hat

Small Emile and Ida hat in cotton, with a cherry pattern, which has been made by hand using the traditional artisanal technique of “blockprint”.
The “blocks” are hand-engraved wooden stamps. You need a different stamp for each color of the pattern. After having spread the fabrics on long wooden tables, each color is applied by hand, one after the other. This technique requires a lot of precision.
The small knot allows you to adjust the size of the head circumference.
Made in India.
